Milan station


Milano Centrale, started during WW1, inaugurated 1931. Architect Ulisse Stacchini, with prompting from Mussolini as regards subsequent grandiosity.

Just time for a panino and a photograph of Milan station.

I’d forgotten how distinctive and strong Italian coffee is – even lungho. And forget about the European beer/wine divide: I am so glad to have reached the right side of the butter/olive oil line!
